OpenOffice.org versus Microsoft Office

For the vast majority of computer users, OpenOffice.org is a viable alternative to Microsoft Office.  Like the latter, OpenOffice.org is a productivity suite offering word processing, spreadsheet, database, and presentation applications.

OpenOffice.org differs though in that it also includes a powerful vector-graphics application, comparable to Microsoft Visio or CorelDRAW.

As it is an open source application, OpenOffice.org is free software, and there is therefore a significant saving by going the open source route, money that can be invested in training to improve productivity.

We supply our delegates with copies of the application when they enrol for training on any of our OpenOffice.org.
