The Computer Basics: Software course is aimed at the delegate with little or no knowledge of computers.
Topics discussed include a definition of what software is, the role of operating systems and some examples, and the various categories of application software, some examples of each and their uses.

The course is not intended to turn the delegate into a software expert, but rather to give them the basic knowledge of software that they will need when purchasing and using a computer.
